Hello

My name is Elisabeth Bingham. My pronouns are (she/her). I wanted to go into this therapy field because I find joy in helping people feel safe enough to be vulnerable and seeing them become empowered to solve their problems and face life. I’ve observed these triumphs personally and have walked alongside people through their most vulnerable moments. I am comfortable with and have experience working with the following populations: adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I strive to hold space for my clients by using different therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I tailor the interventions to help my clients meet their goals

My Story

I am a Clinical Social Work Intern which means I’m a pre-licensed professional who practices under the supervision of our Clinical Director Saritha. I am a proud graduate of UNLV's Master of Social Work program in May of 2022.  Working as a mental health technician in a psychiatric hospital and observing the social workers there effectively assist their patients inspired me to pursue my degree in Social Work.  I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients in diverse practice settings including outpatient private practice, in-home rehabilitative treatment, and an inpatient psychiatric hospital. These experiences have allowed me to obtain a unique perspective on mental health treatment which I bring into my sessions to increase effectiveness.
