CSW - Intern

Bio

My name is Clohe Lamb. My pronouns are (she/her). I chose to pursue a career in social work because I am passionate about supporting at-risk youth, promoting mental well-being, and implementing trauma-informed care. I find fulfillment in helping individuals build resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and create lasting positive change in their lives. Through my work, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals in their most vulnerable moments, providing support, advocacy, and empowerment. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, individuals in the foster care system, survivors of human trafficking, and those experiencing homelessness, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges. I strive to hold space for my clients by using evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.

My Story

Born and raised in Las Vegas, I pursued my passion for social work by earning my Master of Social Work from UNR. My journey has led me through diverse roles in community-based programs, mentorship initiatives, and direct therapeutic services, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals across various backgrounds. As a Clinical Social Work Intern, I practice under the supervision of our Clinical Director, Saritha. Through my work, I have had the opportunity to support a wide range of populations, gaining valuable insight into the diverse needs of children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating mental health challenges. I am deeply committed to bridging gaps in access to mental health care and advocating for the well-being those of all ages from 5- 100 years old. My goal is to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and implement sustainable, evidence-based solutions that foster long-term well-being. I believe in the power of empathy, individualized care, and meeting clients where they are—honoring their unique experiences and pacing therapy to fit their personal journey.
