mission statement

What does my practice do?

Oftentimes people feel “stuck”, unable to move forward in their lives, lost and in a dark place. In therapy my goal is to enlighten your strengths, transform your thinking and the way you perceive yourself.  During our time together we will uncover the reasons that led you to this place in your life and develop a plan to help you move forward.

What value does my practice bring?

My philosophical approach is to empower individuals/families/groups to make the changes that they feel would increase their level of functioning. I engage in evidence-based practices through a creative and client centered approach which have been proven to be successful in client’s I have treated.

How do we do it?

I provide individual and family therapy as well as group therapy. Utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy I can help you develop healthy communication skills and address/restructure negative thought patterns. Having extensive training and understanding of various traumas (sexual, physical, emotional) we can work together towards resolution and healing from past traumas. I can assist you with developing coping skills to help you manage present day stressors more effectively. In family therapy, we will explore the family system and how this system influences many aspects of our life.
